1st Airplane Ride

Giuliana and Mikaela had their first plane ride on Friday to see their cousin Josie.  They did soooooo good.  No crying at all.  Everything went really well.  The only unexpected thing was that we couldn't sit in the same row with both girls.  There are 3 seats in each row with 4 oxygen masks.  So, if we would've sat in the same row it would have been 5 people and only 4 masks.  So, we had to split up but it worked out since I was just across the isle.

6 Months

Wow!! Can you believe it's already been 6 months since these precious little girls came into this world? The last 6 months have been wonderful. I never knew how rewarding (and stressful) being a mom could be...and I love it. I thought it would be fun to take a look back and see how much the girls have grown.

The last month has been really exciting. The girls starting rolling over, eating rice cereal, squealing....then talking, and laughing. They've also welcomed their cousin Josie and cousin Sophia into the world.

It's been a fun and crazy 6 months. Frankie and I are surviving and look forward to every single day we get to spend with our girls.

Here are a few pictures of the girls just chillin'. I've caught Giuliana several times going for Mikaela's ears. Fortunately, Mikaela is a good sport and lets her sister tug on her ear every once in awhile! Giuliana is in the stripes and Mikaela in the polka dots.

To Jump or not to Jump

So, I thought it would be fun to put the girls in those jump things. I guess they weren't ready because they didn't jump. They just kinda sat there. Or, maybe I didn't have it set up right. Oh well, maybe next time! Giuliana is in the one with the yellow tray and Mikaela in the green one.

Yummy Yum Yum for my Tummy Tum Tum

Giuliana and Mikaela had their first taste of food the other day. They were really unsure as to why mommy was putting this 'stuff' in their mouth. At first they did not like the cereal at all. After a few tries, they started opening their mouths for a little taste here and there.

Giuliana has the solid purple bib on and Mikaela has the light purple bib on.

Here is a HILARIOUS video of Katie shooting a 'big gun.' In the past, us girls have only shot the 'little black guns.' I think I'll stick to the little black guns....

Thanksgiving Weekend

We spent Thanksgiving weekend in Bville with my family. Aaron, Katie, and Josie were in town which is always really exciting. This was the FIRST TIME Aaron met his nieces. We spent the weekend shopping, playing with babies, shooting guns, and laughing!!
