Happy Thanksgiving

This was Giuliana and Mikaela's first Thanksgiving! They really enjoyed it but are looking forward to when they can dig into the turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, and pie! We spent Thanksgiving at Frankie's Grandma's house with the rest of his family. The girls enjoyed hanging out with baby Sophia! Frankie is holding Mikaela and I'm holding Giuliana.

Giuliana's new favorite thing is sticking her tongue out after eating. It's so funny. Here's just a few pictures of her enjoying her new found toy....

Playtime

It seems as if the girls are changing on a daily basis now. They love sitting in their little bumbo chairs. And, I'm not sure if they see each other...or if they just think they're looking in a mirror. Whatever it is, it's so sweet to see them smile at each other!!! Giuliana is in yellow and Mikaela in blue!

It's about time!!

Giuliana (jeans) and Mikaela (khakis) were so excited for their cousin Sophia to get here that they just wore themselves out for the day. They made a fun sign for her. Then, they spent hours and hours at the hospital waiting for her arrival. Once we got home they were out for the count!!

Dave and Jamie gave birth to their precious girl on Saturday, November 15th! She was such a great surprise since no one knew if the baby was a boy or a girl! Mikaela and Giuliana are THRILLED it's a girl!! We are excited to start spending time with the new cousin!

5 Months

The girls are 5 months old today! They are getting to be more and more fun. They love to smile and 'laugh.' They are trying so hard to roll over on their own. So far they can only do it with assistance. No food yet, just milk. Hopefully we'll be giving them food by Christmas!

Gettin' the Job done

I was making dinner and ran down stairs to ask Frankie a question...there he was making sure the girls were happy!!! I'm not sure how we got them both in his lap.....but, he always does what it takes to get the job done!

Girl's Night

Shona, Megan, Christy and I always get together for Mexican about once a month. This time we had two special guests with us:

Mikaela (brown) and Giuliana (pink)

But, the Guest of Honor was Shona ~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

The girls did great for about the first 5 minutes!!! They were ready to 'play' the second our food arrived....go figure! Thank goodness I had 3 helpers with me.

Aunt Jamie and Cousin Madeo

Jamie came over and spent some time with her nieces tonight. This may be the last time Jamie will be over before she has her baby. We are just waiting, waiting, WAITING, AND WAITING for cousin Madeo to get here!!

4 1/2 Months Old

Giuliana and Mikaela are now 21 weeks old (almost 5 months). They both weight 12lbs, 10oz. Giuliana is 23.75 inches long and Mikaela is 24 inches long.

They have both found their hands and love sucking on them....

but, so far not their thumb.

The favorite part of their day is smiling really big for mommy and daddy!!
